The hotel is pleasant with amicable staff and generous facilities. The setting is marvellous and brilliant, really close to Bristol, the local museums and gallery, very nice area. Distance to the restaurant takes 200 metres.

Loved the place, had a real good stay with value for the price. Location: the hotel was right by the restaurants and shops of Clifton as well as Clifton Suspension Bridge. And it was not very far from Cau Steak Restaurant, ate there couple of times.

Fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable and highly accommodative staff.
Climbing up flights of stairs, since there is no lift.

No off street parking. Not insulated against outside/inside noise.

Explored local golf spots and hit some lively pubs nearby. The super nice team, letting us check in late and even providing snacks. If you need parking, consider street options available after hours.
One downside was the noise from the surrounding bars. Our first room was right above it.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the room was immaculate. The hotel was also in a convenient location, and I liked the fact that I could get a single room for a fairly cheap price. I was also really chuffed to have very good working wi-fi so I could do my work with no trouble.
6 flights of stairs to get to my room was pretty wearing! I also wasn't impressed with the breakfast - at £6.50 it was very expensive, and not worth the price. There weren't even any baked beans, and my toast took so long to arrive that in the end I just didn't bother.

I really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast with a great variety and the quaint charm of the old building. The clean and tidy room was very comfortable, despite needing a bit of updating.
